Learn more about the library’s maker-space

The Springfield (VT) Town Library's maker-space is a recently established community hub for creativity, learning, and connection, located on the library's second floor.

Created with the support of a grant and local donations, the space is currently centered around sewing and crafting technology.

Key equipment available in the maker-space includes:

·        Multiple sewing machines

·        A Cricut Maker (an electronic cutting machine)

·        A heat press

The library regularly hosts classes and workshops, particularly on sewing, and encourages community members to utilize the space and its resources for creative projects.

If you wish to use the Cricut Maker, we first ask that you view the following slideshow, and take the quiz linked in the final slide.: Cricut Slideshow and Quiz

If you have any questions, come in, or call the library at 802-885-3108.
