Deep in Thought is a collaborative micropoetry letterpress project created by poets and artists at Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield in partnership with A Revolutionary Press of New Haven, Vermont. The program features poetry by members of the SSCF Tuesday Afternoon Poetry Group, read by SSCF volunteer Anna Newman. Through the intersection of poetry, printmaking, and collective expression, Deep in Thought amplifies incarcerated voices and explores creativity as a means of reflection, connection, and transformation.
